I have a confession to make............................................john had yesterday off work...Not much work for them at the mo so he booked it off...We went shopping and in Asda picked up 2 Boxes of their Extra Special Belgian Chocolates 400 grams..big silver boxes with beautiful red robbons...Reduced down to a £1 each...Just because the boxes were a little dented on the sides...And had the afternoon together which is so unusual as theres always the kids about....OMG I felt so romantic..........................................Wonder if DH did as well:rolleyes:

  • Some of you already know that although my day started ok it has gone rapidly down hill. I can only have contact with LO if we have a social worker to act as a minder, and having had contact cancelled last weekend (weather) just chased up what is happening this weekend and it too is cancelled as there are no social workers available. These are private social workers, not social services, and a few and far between. I have seen LO twice in almost three months from being a beautiful happy full time family. This has been devastating news and I feel like giving up.

On top of that, I don't say much probably because I am very scared, but I am having a whole host of physical symptoms some of which are pretty nasty. I tell myself it isn't surprising as there was five years of domestic violence and now five years trying to protect the kids from him, so it has been terribly stressful. However, my health has gone so down hill that my physio felt something more than depression was going on and ordered blood tests.

I had them done yesterday and was told phone for results in a week. Now, the surgery have called and there is an abnormal result, very high CRP level, can they re-test on Thursday The first available appt is in ten days time.

Of course as I have only dealt with a secretary I need to understand more about what it all means so have gone onto the dreaded internet. I am really scared as it seems these results can mean the following:
A positive CRP may be an indicator of several conditions, including:
Does anyone on the board have any more down to earth knowledge as to what this may in reality indicate for me? I am terrified and feel like my life is slipping through my fingers.
But there are dreams that cannot be,and there are storms we cannot weather!
