LGPS - need urgent help

Hello friends

I wonder if someone can help me. I believe that someone aged 50+ NOW being made redundant within the LGPS has automatic payment of "unreduced benefits" and employer must make up the shortfall (ie the actuarial reduction that is disapplied to the pension member)

Is this true? Are the benefits really unreduced? And does this apply if the redundancy is voluntary taken following receipt of at risk notice?

And, sorry to keep asking questions, if this is all true; then is it worth taking...

Any knowledge / views?
