please help banking error

I'm wondering if anyone can help as we have just put our house on the market yesterday and received a default notice this morning for non payment of a credit card which is a banking error. This default is being corrected with the credit card company as it is a genuine banking error, but unfortunately the bank and the credit card are two different companes, and we are very worried how this will show/affect our credit score. We currently have our mortgage with Accord(credit repair) and as we have had no problems for 6 years, we don't want this one default to ruin our chances of porting our mortgage with Accord. Are we worrying over nothing or do we need proof off the credit card company to prove this was a banking error?
Any comments would be very welcome.
Thanks

  • When the cc co amend your cf they will remove all traces of the dfn it will be as if it was never there. Still worth keeping an eye on it make sure they do it properly.
