OnLine Book Clubs like BOL?

A few years ago I was a member of BOL.com or co.uk (cant remember which) which was an online book club which sold books at discounted prices but you had to buy a set amount of books in the first year ( I think it was 4books) but it wasnt one of the ones where they sent you a random book and you had to send it back it was one where you could buy any book from the site, anyway I think these guys went bust or just closed but does anyone know of any similar sites? from what I can remember they had most of the major releases and they were priced below amazon/play etc

They morphed into bookgiant ( http://www.bookgiant.co.uk/static/0076_redirect.htm ) who've now developed into booksdirect.co.uk http://www.booksdirect.co.uk/

However, I've chosen not to join that site as I think the terms and conditions involve having the editors choice sent to you if you don't let them know...
