1kg Tate & Lyle and/or Silver spoon is usually available in B&M and Home Bargains for 69p

Yep, I go to Home Bargains too, they have had it priced at 69p for a good few months now. The stores local to me do Silver Spoon, but sugar is sugar at the end of the day.

I was shocked when I went into Tesco the other day and saw sugar at 93p per Kg!!!

Totally agree on the shock, we rarely use sugar in our house, went to buy some in Tesco for work, and almost dropped when i seen the price of it. Lidl here I come in future, we don't have any of the other shops, ty dear.

In B&M at the moment you get 1KG for 79p and it comes in a hard plastic jar ideal for refilling.

Double check that, because a lot of the plastic containers are actually 750g, but look and feel like 1Kg.

tessie, B&M are just like Home Bargains, only with bigger stores and more products.

Tate & Lyle 1kg suger was 74p/75p (can't remember exactly) the other day when I was in my local Iceland.
