You must get this confirmed in writing. That should be your priority first.0

Write to complaints resolution team first...based at centre dealing with your case...and if no response escalate it to client services director which is now Janis Crook - but you can find the address on our website https://www.nacsa.co.uk - under Martin Connor. be sure to send letters recorded delivery...and be sure to keep going until you get confirmation of when case was officially closed, and refunds of any payments made after that date. (assuming there were no arrears)0

If the case was closed, both parties should have received a letter at that time stating this fact. YOu need to ask why it was not sent and then why monies paid to them were not returned as the case was closed. Even if it took a while to sort out, it should not have taken almost 3 years!!0

If this is an error by the CSA, you will be able to claim interest and costs associated with the overpayment. It's all in the DWP's book in the Useful Links thread.Information is not knowledge.
