Hi,
I would normally post on the green and ethical board but I figure I'd get a greater response here.
I have to pairs of curtains that were given to me and are dry clean only They are M&S curtains and made from 83% cotton / 17% nylon. The lining, not detatchable, is 50% cotton / 50% polyester.
The cost of dry cleaning I suspect will be prohibitive so I am wondering if there are any alternatives.
Not only are they grubby but they also stink of tobacco.
Any tips on alternatives to dry cleaning?
How would they fare with a cold wash?
