Do you think it's OK for me to email them and say that I bought the paper on both days, but there was no CD OR book? (I've never bought the Independent - though I did get a free copy once!)

Or do they require some sort of proof of purchase?!

I bought the saturday one but tried 3 shops for the sunday one but they had either sold out or had not got the book in, so that's what i have told them.

Went to dump some newspapers tonight in the local paper bank and the 1st one I tried was full ................................



.............of INDEPENDENTs - dozens of copies of Saturday's edition and even more copies of the Sunday's

Sadly it was too dark to see to much but didn't see any of the CDs or books.

I'm going back in the morning to have a closer look in daylight !!!!!!!!!

I have said that there was no disk in my sat edition. and the book was damaged in the sunday edition. Both lies but what the heck. I might actually be able to get on on ebay?
