While watching the current BBC prorgramme 'The Victorian Farm' my wife suggested she would like a copy of the book (featured as their main point of reference), as it may be interesting to find a few tips or compare against our current small agricultural adventures (vegetable patch).

I've just been 'reading' it.
On the early pages it describes how to top and tail turnips and how to confine Sheep and Turnips!!
Or that's what I thought it said!
It actually was Sheep ON Turnips.
I had been wondering why Turnips had to be rounded up and kept in a pen up until then!!
And the very last page about Capons.....that was new to me!!** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -
Brilliant find, Hanslope! Thank you so much. I've not been able to watch the programme and have wondered where I could find the book. Thanks again! :beer:Take the first step.
