Pretty sure Sky credit card is from Barclaycard (used to be at least) so not really directly linked to your sky account etc.

I think you can get the freeview channels plus a few more through sky without a subscription so you should still be able to get at least some channels? :)

And I'm not sure how linked the Sky CC is with Sky themselves - it may well be run by another company (MBNA for example) so you may find even if you do owe on your Sky CC, that might be totally separate from your Sky TV so as long as you keep up your subscription payments you might well be able to keep it anyway (paying out of your surplus).

If you guys have internet connection you could always download your fav tv shows, at least some of them, from torrent sites....if worse come to the worse

    Hi glamjan,

I have a little bit of inside knowledge here and I doubt very much that your Sky c/c will have an effect on your Sky service.
I can't say for sure but try and keep calm on this one - I think you will be OK!
    I couldn't be without it either...... ;)

I agree with all the above. Sky isn't a bank so your card will be serviced by one of the banks.

Have you thought of FreeSat? I'm with Virgin Media and I think ( I hope) they are OK with a BR if they keep the payments up. But if not my fall back is FreeSat or Freeview, OK so not all the channels are available for free bit it is free!

Hi, I had a Sky credit card and it is owned by Barclays. It hasn't affected my sky tv package.
  • Us too. No panics, Sky TV not affected by debt to Sky c.card.
