Overdraft Review Warning

For years I had a £1000 o/d with Halifax, they reviewed it last year reducing it to £850, but in January reviewed it again stripping it to £0. As I was currently £664 into the overdraft, my account suddenly went into the collections department. This is absolutely not fair as there is no warning and it means charges will mount up straight away. As I noticed what had happened the following day, I immediately contacted the bank who have stated they are not applying charges as my account went back into the black in less than one week. BE CAREFUL to anyone who regularly uses their arranged overdraft facility. All remains for me to do now, is attempt to reclaim bank charges from approx 1 year ago, when I lost a source of income whilst ill and debts escalated. I now do 3 jobs, full time 37.5hr week, !.75 hrs weekday evenings and a bar job some Friday and Saturday nights. As my estranged husband is 'ill' I have no financial settlement he continues to live mortgage free in the house mainly paid for by me, while I struggled to bring up a son at the same time as starting on the bottom of the house buying ladder again. Maybe one day, life will be easier.
