Am I the only one who is a little miffed by the jackpot system?

I have placed 1000 points on England to win the 6 Nations title and was told that my winnings would be over 2800 points.

Now I look and my winnings are down to 1700 points!

I understand that it is a pool system but surely there should be a minimum return on points gambled. After all the way its going at the moment I will end up owing PB points rather than winning any!!

It'll basically share out the combined losing pb points amongst the backers of the winning team. Therefore if you're a gambler looking for value for money it won't be offered by england or france, who'll probably work out to about evens, but by italy or scotland as being virtually unbacked their odds will work out to something like 2000-1, somethig you are very unlikely to find in a bookies at this point (but of course something that is still a massive longshot). At least there's no need to worry about losing any points and you'll be getting a few with little risk (fingers crossed!).

I undertsand the principal of it but to lay down a stake and then see the returns dwindle by the minute seems mad considering the stake hasnt changed. Looking at the odds from the start it worked out to something like 11-4 on england winning it. Now they are down to less than 7-4

    Oh well.........
