My only problem with bank accounts is that Barclaycard are one of my creditors and Co-op will be too!!
wouldnt worry too much...barclays were one of my Biggest creditors yet they offered me a basic account....BUT make sure its after your BR if you open the barclays account otherwise any cash you have they could take (they call it offsetting!)
depends what the debt was with the co-opWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
If you are going to open a Barclays account and they are one of your creditors I would say it is best to do this after BR as your money wouldn't be safe there until you are bankrupt. They can take it to pay them anything you owe.

The debt with Co-op is £400 overdraft.
Anyone know what I do about non-dependents contributions?0 -
Oh also do I include non-dependents contributions....bearing in mind one is moving out later this year?
You would have to include it as part of your income because the statement covers the SOA at the time of BR. Afterwards if the contribution drops or disappears you inform the OR of a change in income.

Another question...
I don't have all my creditors statements or bank statements.....can copy balances etc from IVA paperwork, but what will happen re., OR?0 -
The OR can find all the information he needs.
Re the non-dependent (when do children ever become non-dependent?) contribution, if it was me and they were moving out soon, I probably wouldn't put it down myself.

Ok, should I just add the one's contribution then, and leave out the others?....[ I've been trying to work out that one for years...when exactly do they become non-dependent ??? lol ]0

Its up to you to do - I only said what I would do. As I see it that money that he/she gives you in rent you probably shell out right back to them in some way or another.
My son will be 18 next month and I can't believe it. He can just about make a peanut butter sandwich and a simple microwave meal.

Just been looking through BR forms, obviously it asks for details of IVA and name of IP.......am I likely to be hauled over the coals for only making 2 payments to IVA.....will they look at it as I haven't given it a chance?0
