If you are looking for fair prices and good service, have a look at The Tradesmen's Directory at https://www.thetradesmensdirectory.co.uk.

I have found two plumbers and an electrician on the site and they were really professional and reasonably priced.

It's a relief to know that these guys are the "A-Team of Tradesmen," having been recommended and vetted to give people like myself piece of mind that we aren't being taken to the cleaners!!

I am a new member to the site and need some advice. I am looking for a reliable plasterer having been let down for the last 4 weeks by someone that keeps promising to come do a job then doesnt turn up. How can I find someone that will do a good job, will not rip me off and actually turn up when he says?? Are there any directories such as the one at the start of this thread for the Cheshire area? I am in Warrington....

If the first one was so good, why did you need the second?
