Much more than a £1 a pop. Friends of mine payed close to a tenner [for 2]. Good catch.

Movie House cinemas have "crazy Tuesdays" where all tickets for all shows are £3 (it used to be £2 I think, but it has increased).

Not quite as nice as £1, but still a nice saving over their usual adult evening admission of £5.50.

DW took DS to see Bedtime Stories for £1 each. They really enjoyed.

Word of warning though Bolt is in 3D and would have cost £7 for an adult and £5 for each child even for a matinee.

Got all excited then, then I realised that Dundonald in Ayrshire doesn't have a cinema, and the OP is in Belfast. Oh, well
