I managed to buy some in my local pound shop and have found them especially good when drying towels particularly. It used to take around 1 1/2 hours to dry towels in my dryer and with the balls it takes around an 1 hour plus the towels do seem to come up fluffier. So I could definitely recommend them. Don't know if they are still on sale in the pound shop as it was a while ago. The only downside is that they do make a bit of a racket! Fortunately my dryer is out in the garage!0

I also have the ones from the pound shop, but I have to say I have found no difference at all in the drying time/quality. They are very noisy and very annoying!0

Thanks both! :beer:0

I found them good too, they stopped the larger towels from twisting around which does help with reducing drying time.
I agree on the noise tho!Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach that person touse the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.:D0 -
I stopped using mine because of the noise.Herman - MP for all!

MY OH says they make the clothes go bobbly. She stopped using them (I always forgot anyway).0

I have JML ones that I have had a couple of years, still going strong. Also have cheap ones, i usually put 3 or 4 in with drying. They are noisy, it's like when you put in a pair of shoes with the wash. I have energy efficient dryer but that takes hours so I have constant clunking. If you can cope with the noise though I think they are worth it as the stuff does feel soft.WW Gold Member, trying to maintain !!!Hayden born July 07Tabitha born April 05Poppy born July 030
