Went to one of these for the first time this year, came away with nothing. Complete Rugby scrum,

They just had signs up for instance saying jumpers £40, but if you checked the website some of these jumpers were cheaper to buy direct.

Some stuff was really old and huge sizes or tiny sizes. I love Boden but would not rush to go to another one of these sales.

Thanks for the feedback. I have heard mixed reviews before so had decided I wuold only go if there were one close to home. I presume they simply sell off the old stock from several years back that did not sell in the sales?

Has anyone been to one of these yet this year? are they any good for childrens clothes?

I'm thinking about going to the one in Shepton Mallet but not sure if its worth it?

I got to the one in Newark at 10.30, half an hour after it opened this morning. According to the security staff, people had been queuing outside from 8.30. The children's section had been pretty much cleaned out, and the queue to pay was the longest and slowest moving I have ever seen anywhere. Prices weren't particularly good - £10 for a plain T shirt for a 5 year old.

I left with nothing, and I'll stick to the online sale in future.

I went to one in Edinburgh a couple of years ago and there isn't a huge amount of kidswear - if you want some, my advice is to get there early on the first day and make a beeline for it when the doors open as it doesn't hang around long.

Pricewise they don't give stuff away but you have to remember it is Boden which means good quality and also pretty good resale value.
