Extra Evening or Weekend Part-Time Work

Hi.

I wonder if you can help.

I am currently temping at the moment, but the pay isnt great. I would consider moving on, but the location and the work really suit me. Like everyone else I have bills to pay and have been thinking about doing some additional evening or weekend work.

I'm just wondering what if anything is out there.

I've had a look on the internet i.e. agency sites and gumtree etc, but the quality of jobs listed havent been great. Can anyone suggest any sites or companies that might be good.

Is there any hospital work that I could do? At least in the short-time. If so, I need to approach them directly or do it through an agency??

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I work in Haddows part time at night 6 til 10pm 3 nights week. It isnt great pay but an extra couple of hundred pounds a month.

Theres also bar work, but thats late finish and not good if your getting up early the next day for work.

Leaflet distribution - ok not great in this weather. I did it for a while and it paid quite well but was hard work. Nice in the summer if you don't mind walking lots. Try local Estate Agents (if there are any left!), Yellow Pages etc.

Also, I had an office cleaning job for a while during the week. Would start work at 6.30pm although they were fairly flexible if I was delayed at work or traffic etc and I worked until 9pm. Not massive money but an extra £60 pw helped.

I've also done Pizza deliveries at the weekends so if you have a car it may be worth considering. It wasn't bad money and I used to get good tips in a weekend which really helped.

Try local supermarkets - they may need evening staff.

Sorry me again!

A friend of mine does data entry work for a company 2 nights a week. She works from 6pm until about 10pm. The work is mind numbingly dull but pays £6ph and is easy. She got that through an agency so it might be worth asking your agency if they have any of those types of jobs and try the jobcentreplus website.

I work a 2nd Job to supplement my income at a well known dvd rental store, suits me well as I do evenings and weekends working around my main job and the latest we finish is half ten so plenty of time for sleep, cocoa and regular work the next day!!
