Online Forms Question

We have a Northern Rock Mortgage which goes in the secured creditors part, we also have a unsecured topup which goes out on the same DD, only myself is going BR, realise my wife will be responsible for this debt, do I list this in the unsecured part?

I'm not sure how those NR loans work. Is it not secured on your house but you have one payment each month? Maybe someone else with knowledge of them will come along to answer your question.

  • I have a together mortgage with NR and have just finished my online forms and arrived at the same question myself. I am off to court monday.
I have listed the mortgage part in the secured section and the NR loan in the unsecured section. I also used to pay one DD but have always been aware that the loan is unsecured and the mortgage loan secured. I have listed both with the same account no/reference, so i will let you know tuesday if my forms are excepted!
  • I also have a NR mortgage and was declared BR on 12th Jan 09. The mortgage goes in the secure part and the loan in the unsecured part of the online forms.
  • Thanks, do a put the whole amount even thought it just myself going BR

Yes you do. You put your OH's contribution to the joint bills on the form.

Even if you don't get the forms 100% correct (they can be quite difficult!) just explain at your OR interview.
