some lenders do dmp's. they will ask for the info you gathered and providing all the figures add up, like surplus or deficit they can be helpful.

with your dmp..check that your expenditure does meet the bba guidelines. it does not have to be an exact match though areas which if significantly higher will trigger queries are
    entertainment
    tobacco
    mortgage/ rent

if your offers of repayment are pro rata'd that helps too. as a creditor that you owe eg 10k would like more of the surplus than the creditor you owe 5k too.

tried to find a bba guideline but couldnt
would love to be a home owner. hate private renting
scared of debt. almost debt free.
  • hi if it any help as you are so strapped for cash i would pay the card you need to use ask the others for reduced payments for say the next three months (they will usually take 10% of balance) and then you never know your situation may change and you may be able to continue payments.
    Make £11,000 in 2011 / ebay £600

    JWM,
I hope you don't mind me saying but your light bulb isn't quite there yet.

You said on your previous thread that you reduced your mortgage by £300 to meet your minimum repayments and now you are unable to meet them again - has your debt still been increasing?

You need to sort this problem now, it's only going to get worse otherwise. Sorry.
