Yes it is that model, saw this myself @ Edinburgh, Straiton, they also had a Sony 28" pure flat tv at half price, £224 and lots left.

Just a word of warning on this model. There has been a lengthy discussion on the av forums about a problem with this machine concerning the RGB passthrough. In other words if you connect your sky box to the recorder via an RGB scart, there is a noticeable degradation of picture quality.

I bought this machine as part of the home cinema package and not only noticed nasty ghosting when viewing sky, but also on playback of certain dvd's (mailnly animation such as Simpsons or South Park.) The picture was totally unacceptable so I took it back for a refund.

I may be wrong, but apparently this is a fault with all GX210's. Mine was definately pants!

Thats a good deal as its 149.99 on amazon. Also you can get a firmware upgrade disc off the net or Ebay to make it multiregion.

sainsbury also have a daewoo recorder with 80gb hard drive for less than 200£ i cant think of exact figure i think its 199£

I bought one of these a few weeks ago, and it seems to be really good! The recordings are really good quality / clear, and the sound is also very good. Also, it has recorded on everything that I have tried so far, even cheaper dvd-r / dvd+rs. It's also very flexible in terms of input / outputs. Very highly recommended. Far better than the previous machines I have tried (LiteOn, Daewoo, Technika).
