DO NOT touch Candy.
I bought a built-in fridge/freezer model, doesn't keep things cold; no adjustable thermostat. Checked seal and cleaned coils at rear-still no joy.
My friends had similar problems...0 -

Many appliances are no longer made by the companies shown on the logo. Successful brand name companies go bust or are taken over by bigger companies but they usually keep the "old" name for various tactical marketing reasons
Electrolux: own well over 50 brand names (though not all of them washing machines) Among the more well known ones are AEG, Tricity Bendix, Zanussi.
Candy: own Hoover, Zerowatt and Kelvinator among others.
Merloni: own Ariston, Indesit, New World, Philco, Hotpoint, Creda, Cannon, Philco, GDA, English Electric,Thorn (and others)It's a great day for singing a song / It's a great day for moving along / It's a great day for morning to night / It's a great day for everybody's plight.
Your father pedals car telephones at a 300 percent markup. Your mother works on heavy commission at a camera store. Graduated to it from espresso machines. Hah!0
