Anyone see the Money spot on Breakfast at 7.50am talking about "record rise in bankruptcies" .......
Not too bad - except wrongly he said that you HAVE to continue making monthly payments for 36 months and you DO get to keep your car up to a value of £1500. No ifs or buts.
They bought into the discussion about the fees for BR even though people are not supposed to have any money.
They also talked about how some people see it as an easy way out of being in debt but they quite rightly said that most people are desperate and don't know which way to turn.....
Interesting ........ I wonder what the figures will be for the first three months of 2009?

They will be high but we all know that. IVA's are tosh and dont work and ah mostly ran by companies are crooks and the government do nothing about it so its hardly a surprise that people are forced to look at the only real option for the alot and thats to go BR.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

Also i got annoyed that a lot of these reporters dont have a clue when it come to this subject. They report on it and reckon they know what OR's do not even us people who are regulars on here can say what an OR might or might not do as they all vary.
They should be picking a few people off here to give proper advice on what its really like to go through the whole process and not guess what it must be like.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:
