After a rubbish day .....

Most of you know I have had a really rubbish day ... OH looked out of the window 10 mins ago and this is what we saw ....

It has really made my day and cheered me up no end (how sad is that!!!) I have been out in the middle of the road in my pj's, slippers and dressing gown playing in the snow ... just to prove I haven't stolen pictures off the net I even wrote my name on my bonnet :rotfl: (OH really thinks I have lost the plot now)

Thankyou for all of your support, and all of the PM's I have read them and will reply to then probably tomorrow when I can get my head around things a bit better

Love the photo's, Not sure why you have been having a rubbish time but I hope the snow has made you feel better. We are in (sunny bournemouth dorset) and it's slushing down today!
  • The snow is falling thick and fast in Coventry - I've just got back from walking the dog in it. How come she hates the rain but goes mental in snow? I'll try and get some pics later, maybe in the graveyard.

Sounds like that was just what you needed rusty :) Hope today is better than yesterday!! x

So glad something made you smile yesterday Rusty. As always sending my love.

Struggled in today to get my son to college, they get a black mark against their name if they don't register - to find big notice on the gates to say CLOSED.
    GRRRRR!!
We've had loads more snow last night and this morning. They didn't grit the main roads last night. Cars and vans were sliding in and out of side roads. 1 accident - 2 cars pranged together and another where a car was wrapped round a gate post and another 2 cars in the ditch. Nobody hurt though very luckily. I only had to go 10 mile there and 10 mile back, scary:eek:

  • Wow craftlady - that's proper snow! I thought we were doing well in Coventry, but it was nothing like that. Still, the most snow I've seen since 1990 (when it looked more like your pic). It came down again this morning, but then really cleared this afternoon. Suits me, I'm wearing a new ra-ra skirt out tonight and really didn't want to have to wear wellies with it, lol.
