When i am MF, I will still continue working. Surplus from my income will go to saving so that I can buy the next house without a mortgage. I will be able to donate more into charities too. And most importantly my aim is to retire early and do things I have always wanted to do.:A

Plan B - Save some money for retirement (hopefully early!), take more holidays, maybe work part-time so as more time for hobbies & travel, buy a newer (ie. less than 12 years old!!! car).......there are so many wonderful possiblities......
Plan A - What we really want is to have a baby (been a very long and expensive journey so far, & no end in sight yet......) and be financially able for me to be a SAHM, or work just a few hours a week until the wee one goes to school. If this dream doesn't come true then it's back to plan B......The best advice you can give your children: "Take responsibility for your own actions...and always Read the Small Print!"

When there is no longer money to motivate you, what will motivate you and why? When there is no longer a need to be up at a certain time each day will you end up getting up at lunchtime? Will life actually feel as good as you now imagine it will do? I guess I am asking as these are my own worries too, although most of the time I think to myself I have enough about me to keep motivated and enough ideas to keep me busy.
Given the current economic situation and the long term outlook We will be trying to save for our old age. We are currently looking to pay the mortgage off in 2016 after which we will be looking to max our old age money pot. The lack of old age provision from successive governments means that our futures are in our own hands.Jono0
