There are a couple of sites on ebay that sell the Prince Edward style suit but AFAIK no-one that manufactures like Landy do.
There's a bit of a gap in the market for an enterprising Chinese manufacturer!0 -

When you consider a tailored made to measure suit probably costs about the same in the UK as the original dresses that Landy "copy" (sorry don't want to get into an argument here) and sell made-to-measure for what, a 10th of the cost? then i think it would follow that even a landy type place would still have to sell a made to measure suit for a 10th of the cost, so you'd still be looking at £70+ to buy and it'd be cheaper to hire here or buy a really cheap off the rack suit.
£80 sounds quite a lot for hire, OP are you sure you've found the cheapest? Debenham's cheapest tailcoat package is £50 and that includes waistcoat (backless prob), shirt and cravat. I think that is where we're going to get our boys' suits from0 -
Blacktie at Cheshire Oaks do a complete rental for 35 quid. I don't know if that price is for all their outlets.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

It's not so much the rental price that's the problem, it's the £200 deposit per outfit that they want and when you want 5 suits it works out that a 5th our budget alone will be going on the deposit for the suits
