My friend wants me to arrange a spa hen weekend for her in Edinburgh (city centre), the idea being that we all arrive on the Friday, have dinner, spend the Saturday in the hotel swimming, having treatments etc and go out on the Sat night and leave on the Sunday.
I don't know where to start looking for such a place...any advice would be great xx

Ha ha no she is not paying for everyone! She has a very "live for the moment" attitude to money and doesn't understand it when I say "I can't afford to do x, y or z" but she is a great pal.
That link looks great, thanks, I'll go have a read....:T0 -

the one spa at the sheraton is meant to be really nice, bet it's pricey though!0

Have you got dates in mind as to when you go?
Does it have to be Edinburgh itself? The reason I ask is that I've been at spa days in both Macdonald Houston House (near Livingston) and Macdonald Marine (North Berwick) which were really good. They're both relatively close to Edinburgh.

The Holyrood Hotel and the Roxburgh Hotel are both Macdonald Hotels and both have beauty treatments.
They are nice and central tooTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
Sheraton is great for girlie time - love the jacuzzi on the roof looking out over the city!0
