After a couple of weeks of not getting through on the telephones - constantly engaged!!, me & DH went to our local centre today got there at 9.34 precisely!! bearing in mind they open at 9.30am!! and got told they have no more slots today maybe if we went back at 11am they MIGHT have .............
So we came home and going to get there for 8.30am tomorrow and wait outside the door (in a queue probably!!)
I will let u know the outcome...................

Hmm its getting busier everywhere....our local CAB is usually pretty quiet but the last few weeks every morning when i've passed people are queueing round the block

Yeah i saw a TV program the other showing the outside of a CAB office and there must have been 20 people in the q.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

It would be easier to be granted an audience with the queen than be seen by my local cab and this is not new. I tried to contact them for over a year and despite standing in the qs from 8.00 am never got a slot. Went to a lottery grant funded advice centre for ethnic minorities in the end (I am not an ethnic minority by the way) and got seen straight away."I told you I was ill" Spike milligans headstone0

I can tell you it is not much fun on the other side of that q either they do their best though! makes you wonder why any one would volunteer to do it.
