restaurants near Ravenscar

I love eating out and love it even more when you get great food and low prices!!

Spending week in Ravenscar soon. I have got the Times eat out for £5 vouchers. Anyone recommend a restaurant in the area where we can take advantage of these? (Or any other bargain places to eat)

Thanks

I spent a week in Ravenscar one afternoon. Not sure if you'll find anything there but if you're willing to venture out to Whitby/Scarborough you'll find a good selection.
Best deals will be some of the pubs on the Moors that do food.
    Can I help?

There's a pub nearby on the main Scarborough-Whitby called the Falcon Inn and also the Flask inn further towards Boggle hole on way to Whitby. I have no idea itf the meals are okay or not as I never eat out. There's a hotel there, Raven Hall Hotel which may do meals. I never been in, the only time I go there is for a walk with kids along the old Scarborough-Whitby line. I live In Scarborough roughly 15 miles away.

Theres a pub between Cloughton and Staintondale (about 5-8 miles form Ravenscar approx) I think does meals, The Bryherstones Inn, it seems busy on a Sunday the few times of year I go there. Use to be a Bikers ub when I was a wee lad but I dont think it is now, looks nice from outside

Theres some beautul scenery that way and then theres the old alum works to see.

TBH there isnt much development there the coastline is pretty much unspoilt and ver beautiful. Dont foeget to pop into Scarborough and Robin Hoods Bay is brilliant, you can see it some 10 miles way from Ravenscar. Take the camera.

    Enjoy your time.

The Haven Wyke does a fantastic meal, my daughter lives at Ravenscar and we have eaten there many times, they also have live entertainment some evenings, probably Saturdays.
Try it you won't regret it.
