Relationship Breakup Mortgage Help
FCRangers
Hi all this is my 1st post and im just looking for a little advice.
I was going out with this guy for 4 and a bit years, we bought an hour together for 82k back in 2005 which works out at about £500 a month with insurance.
However 7 months ago we broke up, he moved out and we put the house up for sale for 105k, we have dropped the house to 97k and now to 95k.
I stayed in the house and paid all the bills and 1/2 the mortgage he paid the other half. However he didn't pay any and now we are not really on speaking terms.
I am only on 17k a year, so wouldn't be able to get a mortgage for 80k outright.
Is it possible Northan Rock can look at my sitution and see I have been paying it on my own and therefore sign 100% of the house to me.
My ex now just wants to walk away and doens't care.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks
