Morning everyone!
Off work now til Monday, but I'm early cus I'm excited! I finally saved up enough £1, 50p and other change to buy myself the fridge freezer i have had my eye on for almost 2 years! You should have seen their faces when I walked into Currys with £300 in notes and £200 in pound coins....I was not popular! Oh well, its being delivered today!!! All I need to do now is save up for the contents!! lol :j
I too discovered Star drops! My sink and taps have never looked so shiny! i think it was about 48p in Sainsburys.
Fay - I was looking on line at a Chinese supermarket, they have 1kg of bicarb in tubs for about £3 or £4 but they were charging a bit for delivery, but if you bought that and vinegar it might be worth it?? Dont know if they reduce the delivery charge the more you buy??
The weather is really horrible here today, raining, cold and it was thundering! think i might have to go and get some fleecy stuff for my seeds!Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!0 -

I love the smell of Stardrops. Brought my trainers up a treat that were all grass stains (stupidly wore them and cut the grass not thinking and they're my favourite pair of trainers).CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hiya Sainsbugs had bigger bottles too - I got one for SIL - 75p/ltr I think? Not sure its that cheap though - Uni would know better - asda and tescos didn't have them that I saw
but there was a space for them in Asda
The biggest bottles I've seen were in Costco (5 litres!). Can't remember size of bottles I gave you Fay but they were about 70p (ish). Only size locally I can get. My Tescos doesn't keep it nor Asda.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Right, I need some motivation. I'd like to clear at least one small debt I have (~ 2K mark) before I finish up end of June. I have plenty to ebay (but can't be bothered basically! bad eh?).
Fay, you said you wanted to ebay some stuff didn't you? Anyone else got stuff they want to ebay but haven't gotten around to? Anyone fancy keeping me company and/or motivated?
Speaking of another motivation, I've just realised its wednesday. I've lost another 1 lb. Updated my signature.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. unix i understand your lack of motivation, we have loads of stuff for a car boot and i can always find excuses why we can't get to one, but i may just have to suggest to OH he does one this saturday.
well done on your weight loss i have gone back up again, i'm seriously tempted to go back to a club and really stick to it, but then i think on the other hand it may be a waste of money. Just don't know what to do for the best.
Got a reflexology session after work today which i'm really looking forward to, can't come soon enough as work is really doing my head in today.0 -
Thanks LT, I too was tempted to join a class but the money side of it put me off when I have exercise equipment in the house and lovely countryside to go for a walk!
It would be good to get all my stuff cleared and ebay what I can.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I'm in for a bit of an e-bay challenge - but I think £2,000 is beyond me, I've sold most of the stuff worth selling :rotfl:0

Olive I picked 2K as its my smallest debt. But thinking about it logically I might find it less of a hurdle of I split it up ans set a goal of say 50 or 100 pounds?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
