Morning All, how is everyone? I can't stop yawning today (read somewhere I wouldn't be so tired if I gave up caffeine completely! Surely it can't be so). Car back in being repaired.

Weight wise I've lost 1 lb, thought I would have lost more but hey ho. OH took me for a meal on Saturday......to Wagamama's and yes we were there on Thursday too. Bad eh? Kids got me a Mother's day card, a big teddy (which need a name....any ideas? He's fudge coloured with curly fur and red paws. Had thought of Chester not sure where that came from but don't think its appropriate). and a box of chocolates which are half eaten already!

  • Peedie update:

Hello to you all - ah the bright lights and lovely trees and rivers all a blur - landed in KW last night with a very bumpy flight and an alarm or phone going off ont he plane which made the flight attendant very nervous and a bit tetchy - which didnt help.

Home to shepherds pie and a noisy house - in bed by 9 exhausted.

Course should have been entitled 'So, you want to do a PhD? All the things they DIDN'T tell you before you started in case they put you off'.

Seriously wondering about both my health and my sanity if I continue - problem is I like my subject - oh well.

Financial stuff - hmmmm spent alot when away - taxi's and alike and dinner - can claim some back but at the end of the day I don't get to do it very often so just need watch the bank over next few days - it was mostly cash so I can't think of too many purchases I made apart from the odd cup coffee.

About to phone the evil credit folk - and offer a full and final settlement of less than they want - but will see. - bill for 177 - will offer 100 and see what they say.

Scary loan is a bit stuck at the moment - will see how that pans out soon - being careful as lost the room income and as yet not 100% sure that office chap is taking it - he said something odd when we were away.

Waves to you all - hormonal and grumpy so best run quick if you are passing:rotfl:

Hi to Kt - and Mrs A - glad to see you both alive alive oh.
Waves to the rest of you........
