Absolutely floored

Came back home on this grey, miserable afternoon to find an envelope bearing the dreaded postmark...
Oh no, oh no.
But you know what? It was my Early Discharge!!! :rotfl:
Just bowled over by the news. According to the date on the document, I've been free for about three weeks without knowing it.
As a natural worrier, I have wasted the past six months fretting about What May Happen. And it hasn't. So, I just wanted to offer what encouragement I can to those others on here in similar situations. The light at the end of the tunnel is not necessarily a train!

Congratulations
Thank you and to everyone else here who's posted. I'm very happy it's over.
The sinking feeling has been a daily thing for me as I hinted above and I reckon that many who go through this have it. At times the silence was deafening and time seemed to slow to a crawl. So you're not alone!0 -
