    With Bristol & West - still on a fixed rate till end of July, but just received an email from them saying that their SVR from 1st April will be 2.99%.

    Quite please B&W have generally speaking past on the rate cuts.
    Challenges:
    3 NSD per week

    great news thanks I have been waiting for that, my tracker is 2% below B&W SVR (till october) so its 0.99%!! yay.

    No, NR are taking thier time about this one. I dont really expect any more svr rate cuts at this time, certainly not the full 0.5.

    Pathetic. They should announce what they have decided to do ( which they no doubt did the day of the rate cut) and put people out of their mosery.

    If they are not going to cut it, just say so now and be done with it

    Don't worry, HSBC are the same; last month their rates were under review for about 4 weeks till the day they announced their results and rights issue - surprise, surprise no one reported their decision not to cut - cynical or what.
