AA loan paid up???

HI there

I dont know if this is the correct place to post. I have an AA loan which I am making minimum payments on. I have had this for approx 4 years now. I received a letter yesterday from Bank of Scotland with my account number for my aa loan and a cheque for £50 saying that they got the settlement figure wrong and this is what they owe me and now this is settled. I think my last check i still owed about 2.5 - 3k and that was only a couple of months ago.
I phoned the AA this morning and attempted to find out what has happened it seems it appears that they are having some sort of trouble locating me on the system. she asked me if I had moved address, or just opened the loan account to which both answers are no. she then put me on hold again and I got cut off.....

I dont really know what to do??!

Do I call them back, or just leave it??? anyone else had something similar?
