I have been seaching the web but all the recipes for a veg curry are huge, you need so many spices!
Has anyone got a basic recipe for veg curry / lentil dahl?

The lentil and tomato dahl here is delicious, I make it often. What I tend to do is make the quantity suggested, and then freeze half before adding the garam masala and spinach. It freezes really well and is just as nice without the spinach.
edit: This is for two of us - when I make the dahl we tend to have it with spinach as a main meal, and then I freeze the rest in two portions to have without spinach as an accompaniment.0 -
