Hello, could you all please suggest where the cheapest place is for me to get a 32" 1080p LCD/Plasma (branded) new or second-hand? Links are appreciated, although any reference to google or eBay will be frowned upon unless they are direct links to products.
Thank you very much!

Why does it have to be 1080p are you joining in all the hype ?0

I've got a Blueray 1080p player and want to use it to it's full potential.0

Ahh right , you are gonna sit right next to the screen0

Yes, exactly!
I don't want to sound rude, but can we please remain focussed on the question in the original post?0 -
I think he is basically saying that you can save some pennies as you will see no difference between 1080p and 720p on a 32" screen.
The Sony W/V range of Bravia's is pretty good for the money, other than that, the Panasonics are nice but pricey.0 -
Thank you for the recommendation, any links to the best deal?
I've noticed that many are deceiving as they appear to be 1080p, but they are actually just HD Ready, not Full HD.0 -
But like we have mentioned, you wont see any difference on a HD ready screen (720p) over a full HD screen (1080p) on a 32" TV.

Both good Tvs. I have a Sony Bravia 32S3000 which is a good little set (HD Ready), but you can get the S4000 now.
I also have a Pioneer LX5090 50" Full HD plasma which is a beast! The Sony is great little TV for the money though.0 -
This will seem like I am ignoring you all, but here's a different question?
Would you say that 32" is the standard size for a TV in a lounge?0 -

We had a 32" Sony and now have a 42" Panasonic. My mother in law has my old Sony now and it looks tiny. Both our lounger are around 4m x 4m.
I couldn't go back to 32".0 -
That's reassuring... :-|0
