Taking a loan to pay court fees?

Now I know technically, using credit to pay for bankruptcy petition is fraudulent, but understand it is often overlooked by ORs when people take £500 on a credit card.

What about taking a cash loan to pay the fees? Will this be viewed any differently do you think?

Also, if OR decides I have been naughty, what are the possible repercussions?

Personally its not worth the risk....your insolvent now & unable to meet the payments you have how would you convince someone to offer you a loan? the official reciever goes through your financial matters with a fine tooth comb so eventually you would be found out & would look at receiving a BRO/BRU as well as possible fraud problems from the loan provider

Some of the utility companies have a trust fund that might be able to offer some help in payments of fees...although some of late have been refused due to the increase of bankruptcy cases

    Have a look around here

  • I am taking possibly £1000 out of the OD account £500 for the fees and the rest to llive on till March 2 BR day. I have no other income at the moment as I have just applied for benefits, this will take the OD to the max and probably above. As I see it I have no choice.
Better to be poor than a slave to wealth

  • Just to add that account will then be £7or 8,000 OD
