AA or AAA Batteries £3.99 for 24

Went to Focus yesterday. They had 12 AA or AAA Kodak branded alkaline batteries for £3.99, plus they were BOGOF so that's 24 for under 4 quid! Looked on their website, offer wasn't there so I guess it was instore only.

FWIW the only reason I ever go to Poundland is for the batteries (AA & AAA). The brands are Sony, Kodak, Hitachi, etc and they are usually 10 to a pack and occasionally 13, so £4 would potentially be 40-52 batteries. HTH0

I usually get the aa or aaa kodak batteries from instore, a pack of 12 is 96p the last time i picked some up. The works also does the sony batteries 12 for 99p at my local store.0
