It might be worth checking with your lender about any time which might be added onto your mortgage after your payment break. At a finacial awareness talk I went to, we was told about someone who took a payment break for 1 month over the christmas period but the mortgage term got extended by 7 months.Cornish men do it drekkly.. Cornish women want it done now

Fair point that it's no good to be leaving your fixed rate to go onto a tracker, but what if you have a fixed rate of around 6% and you think you can get a new fixed rate of around 4%?0
