£1 large easter eggs Asda

they were £1 in milton keynes today ,, the only thing was ,, when they say large... i would say small , they do have 2 choc bars in there but the egg is tiny compared to previous years,i have just eaten one , and it was def not as big as last year large ones

it states on the box the egg and chocolate are identical to last years - but they are reducing their carbon footprint by not using any plastic and they have made the box 25% smaller, I think it's nice to see a large company acting responsibly in this way far too many things are well over packed.miss-piggin :j Mum of 2 wonderful girls and a gorgeous little man.DFW Halifax£2330 Tesco£2576 Virgin£3238 Little£5468 Asda£242 Barc£240 Catalogue£1600 Halifax1£2k Halifax2£250 [STRIKE]Capital£100 Picture£53k GE Mo £30k. Didnt they end up reduced to 50p last year??Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
Good price but I'm going to brave it & hope they get cheaper still... Let the war begin
Sainsbury's usually like a good fight with ASDA from what I remember
God I like to live dangerously :rotfl:Only need 4 eggs haha:j :j0 -
Just for knowledge and don't let me put you off for buying these Easter Eggs but ...............the cheaper the easter egg, the less Cocoa solids and the less Cocoa solids its more likely to be substituted by veg fat. If price is the deciding factor, well Asda Easter Eggs are cheap but there is usually more Cocoa solids in more expensive eggs - min should be 30% but definately better if 50% or more. Well that it, end of education lesson and lets enjoy the Chocolate whatever you decide to buy.0

we ate a rolo one last night to be certain of quality and it was very pleasant and seemed same size to me as last year.......i hate the chocolate with masses of cocoa solids...give me a mars bar everytimeonwards and upwards0

Went into Wilkinsons yesterday, and they had the same size eggs as Asda at £1.99 BOGOF. Flake, Snickers. Maltesers and Creme Egg were available0

"cheaper the easter egg, the less Cocoa solids and the less Cocoa solids its more likely to be substituted by veg fat"
A 'rolo' easter egg is a 'rolo' easter egg. It doesn't change its cocoa solids because it's a pound!
