Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts

A quick idea is to substitute 1oz of cocoa powder for 1oz of flour to make a chocolate cake.

Chocolate fudge Pudding - uses 6 tbsp of cocoa
Sorry, this is an American recipe,so uses cup measures. If you don't have any cup measures 1 cup is an 8 fl oz measure.
This is an excellent chocolatey pud, proving that you don't need 70% cocoa-solids expensive choc to make good choc desserts.
Grease a shallow baking dish-about 9''by13''
Sift together
1 cup plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
add
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract(optional)
Mix until just smooth, then spoon into the dish.
Mix together
4 tbsp cocoa
1 cup of soft brown sugar
Sprinkle over batter in dish
Pour over all 1 1/2 cups of boiling water-DO NOT STIR
Bake 40 mins at 180c
Serve warm with cream0 -
btw 1 oz of choc = 3 Tbsp of cocoa
Works in most recipes

Can be hard to get lump free- I do the standard mixing cocoa to a paste with a little milk first.
Also chocolate sauce which I sometimes make to use up cream (I get through cocoa fast). Heat cream, syrup and cocoa together. It does need a lot of stirring and time to get through the lumps (anyone got any tips for this?), but once done is very chocolatey. My little son says that we are actually 'making chocolate', and when it cools is rather like soft choc fudge on a spoon! Or add a tablespoon of cocoa to butterscotch sauce for a really rich sauce.0 -
An easy microwave pudding.
ingredients.
3oz sr flour
2 tbls cocoa
pinch of salt
4oz margarine/butter
4oz sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 tbls milk
2tsp baking powder
sauce
4oz light soft brown sugar
2tbls cocoa
9floz boiling water
method
put all ingredients (not sauce!!) in a bowl and beat. Spoon into a 2 1/2 pt deep dish. Make the sauce by mixing together the sugar and cocoa then gradually blend in the water, mixing vigorously to avoid lumps. Pour the mixture over the pudding mixture (Yes it is a lot of water but trust me!) Bake in microwave for approx 5 - 6 mins.
The sauce goes to the bottom of the cake mixture and makes an excellent sponge pudding with a rich chocolately sauce. My family love this with custard.Wendy0
