Ladies I need a favour....

I have been speaking to my mum on skype tonight (its free!) and she mentioned that I have set her off on a few things from her hamper ... one of them was earl grey tea which I can get no problem, and the other was a little set from Avon, it is from the planet spa range and was a Planet Spa paraffin hand and foot treatment, it came with some gloves (I picked it up in a charity shop cheaply) however the tubes are not massive and she says it is fantastic!

So I am trying to source the paraffin cream, I have found 6 auctions on ebay but don't know how much they were originally from avon and obviously postage on top makes them quite expensive.

Can anyone tell me how much they were originally and if Avon still sell them? We don't have an avon lady here and I looked on their website but doesn't come up with anything for paraffin!

Please please can anyone help as I would love to get her some more for the goody box I plan to make up for her for her birthday in May!

You could maybe email Avon and see if they can help? My avon lady should be putting a book through the door tomorrow so I will let you know if I find what you are looking for sorry I cant be any more help x

I used to sales lead for Avon, if you go onto their website or ring them and ask for a sales rep local to your area to drop an Avon book to you. They will check who your nearest rep is and ask them to call and see you, possibly gaining a new customer.

I will give avon a ring tomorrow, we haven't had a brochure for ages here (well since at least before I moved in!) I shall also have a look for the avon thread.

Would be lovely if I can get her some though .. I have found the socks which she doesn't have so will buy them aswell and put together a hamper in a shoe box so I can post it down

I just phoned my friend who has been an Avon Rep for years and she says that they no longer sell the Planet Spa Paraffin Hand Cream but if you go online and go into shopping, there is a whole load of "Planet Spa" products on offer and they are just as good as the Paraffin products.
