Quick question - I've lost the renewal form for my Car tax - can I present MOT and Insurance certificates and get a new tax disc, or do I have to wait until they send me a new form?

You can either go into the tax office and fill in a new form or print one off the website and again drop it into the tax office or post it to Coleraine. Unfortunately as it won't be one of the actual renewal forms you get in the post you can't tax your car in the post office.0

You can tax your car at the post office if you take the following:
1. MOT Certificate (if car requires one)
2. Insurance Document
3. Vehicle Registration Document
see link below:

If you are the registered keeper of a vehicle and you do not have a V11 (NI) tax reminder notice, you can apply on a V10 (NI) form from the 5th day of the month before the expiry of your old disc and, during the following month providing that you supply the Post Office® Branch with your registration certificate V5C(NI) and your current tax disc.
