Cheap products at tesco's

I often go shopping in the evenings and then you can find some really good bargains. For example organic leaf of bread for 20P. 5 bagels for 20P. If you have a freezer and a large family, you can save some money by bying cheap bread and freezing it.

My OH's son works part time in Tesco in the evenings after school. Around 5pm they knock 20% off the fruit and veg and the fresh stuff (ready meals, fresh meat and fish) that is almost at its sell by date, then around 8pm, they knock another 85% off the same items!

It is a question of hitting it right, if they staff are busy it might not be exactly 5 and 8pm , I've wandered aimlessly a couple of times until gone 8.30 and nothing's happened. However, hit it right, and bingo!!! You will get fantastic bargains!!

Good to know those timings, thank you!!! I always look for the reduced items, ive always found xmas eve and new years eve is the best time for the meat being reduced,(as they are shut the following days) i always stock up my freezer!!!!
