CSA advice - why 'screw' the good Dad's??
Comments
-
hey!
The bottom line is ... just make sure that the children are not being screwed here. They are the ones who are the innocent victims in this .... as one adult throws one ammo at the other.
Prejudices prevail in society. Just because parents split up, it doesn't mean that their children are hated by anyone -- it's the complete opposite, they have two loving entities.
all you say is true but unfortunately, most bitter exes don't quite see it that way (spesh if they haven't yet hooked a new host), it's a competition between good and bad to them (them being good, the other being bad)

Then again ... if anyone wants to screw this particular 'Good Dad' ...:A
Mind you, it was my idea so hands off
Btw your comments about the children are just so right. Sadly, those like you and me who have been around forums like this for a while have seen all too frequently that the children can be relegated to last place in the scramble for the parents to get one over on each other.
If I could urge one thing on every parting couple it is "the children didn't ask for this so don't involve them in any of it".
I know at first hand how difficult that is but it is so important.Information is not knowledge.

I know ... you are so right. But... and a wee 'BUT' at that, ... it was my little'un who said to me that he didn't want to go back 'home to mum' ( when he was THREE!). In many ways, I have been fighting his battles for him since, so although he didn't 'ask for this,' unfortunately he is 'involved' despite the fact that I have tried so much to create a sense of transparency for them both over the years. Ain't easy ... then again marriage isn't either, I suppose!:wave:0 -
