shopping monthly for 5 kids and me! any advice anyone?

    I would say get the freezer. According the Be-ro recipe book you need two cubic feet per person. So in your case you are suppose to have 12 cubic feet.

    I have a fridge freezer. The freezer is about 3 cubic feet. And as we have moved we now have the space and bought a 5 cubic feet freezer. And I have done a shop for the month and the chest freezer is about 2/3 full. The fridge freezer, freezer is now used for stuff I am using and is open a the moment or open and one spare. So is not so jam packed any more..

    And there is only two of us. And it means I can go once a month for a main shop. And I don't have to stand in the shop going to my husband " do we have the room in the freezer" the answer now is yes. Where as before it was I am not sure.
