Few questions about BR?

Hi everyone, so i have decided that bankruptcy is my best bet to get back on my feet again and i'm pretty much ready to go. I do have a few questions however and was hoping someone might be able to help me answer them?
1. Will i have to hand my car over? - its the definition of an old banger, probably worth 2 or 300 squid if i'm lucky. If so would it be an option just to sign the car over to someone i know (ie a family member or close friend) and just go on the insurance for it?
2. Can i include utility bills in the bankruptcy? I owe Anglian water some money from a previous address i stayed at.
3.Will the address i'm living at get blacklisted? - i'm lodging with a friend right now and i doubt he'd be too pleased if it affected him too.
4. When i open a new bank account with the co-op or whoever will have me will i be able to have any direct debits?
5. Will bankruptcy destroy any chances i might have of emigrating to the likes of Canda in the future.
hmmm thats all i can think of right now haha well hope someone can help, many thanks in advance.

Put it on the forms but as its not worth much and i guess you need it for work you should be fine to keep it. Dont sign it over to someone else as this is likely to annoy the OR.
2. Can i include utility bills in the bankruptcy? I owe Anglian water some money from a previous address i stayed at. Yes you can but remember you may have trouble post BR setting accounts back up with those utilitys you use now. Be careful with elec and gas as you dont want to get Key and Card meters they cost a fortune.
3.Will the address i'm living at get blacklisted? - i'm lodging with a friend right now and i doubt he'd be too pleased if it affected him too. No that does not happen anymore but the address will be advertised on the insolvency site and london gazzette.
4. When i open a new bank account with the co-op or whoever will have me will i be able to have any direct debits? Yes both Co-op Cashminder and Barclays Cash card account allow DD's but these are the only 2 accouts you will get as a BR.
5. Will bankruptcy destroy any chances i might have of emigrating to the likes of Canda in the future. Sorry i cant answer this one but i would look on the canadian government site or i expect someone else on here will have the answer:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:
