So have I got this right it could be either Barton Fink or The Hudsucker Proxy that he doesn't die in? Have I missed one? I've not seen either but according to the wiki article on Barton Fink the hotel goes up in flames at the end. Although the main character walks out the 'residents' of the hotel are left inside, so is it implied that his character dies?
On the other hand I cna't see anything on him dying in the Hudsucker Proxy - he's only a cameo as a barman.
