Of course I do that is why I injected humour.

Lets face it she is not dead and she did not shy away from the odd argument or picking (most "bulls" will vouch for that)

People leave, it is terrible somone threatend her but I suspect had she not given out so much personal info she would not have left?

I would not even give out what county I live in never mind any other info.
There are nutters on the web and that is why staying anonomus matters on a site like this.

I really can`t get my head around people that think that some posters have multi screen names. I assume that`s what is referred to as " sock puppets". Are the opinions of posters here so important that they have to post in various guises?

Come on, it`s only the internet, no reason to take it seriously. I notice that more and more posters here are ganging up. Awwwwwww, come on folks, get over it. I assume we are all adults.

Frankly I couldn`t give a flying ..... about those who disagree with, attack any of my points of view. Frankly I am more interested in hanging on to my business and hope that the current situation will resolve at some time so that my retirement plans are not frittered away by a bunch of greedy or incompetent %ankers that, in imho, have contributed much to the mess we are all in now . Cheap credit, rampant house price inflation. Oh forget it!

Perhaps NDG read my 'End of an Era' thread and agreed. The attitude of some of the people in this thread are exactly what inspired me to write it.

And yes, there are a lot less thanks in other boards, but there's an awful lot of interesting and helpful people posting on them. Perhaps she decided to branch out a little, as I did recommend the Moneysavingoldstyle thread. I also recommend the smallbiz board now!

I would like to know who it was that made such a threat. I've looked through the old posts but can't find anything useful. Anyway, I hope all is okay with her and you bunch of nutters haven't scared her off for good.
I'll have some cheese please, bob.

funny that - you also always the first one to defend these people that are also always involved in these arguments...

hopefully NDG will be back, she's just another user name if not; it's probably a holiday or a work case or something. if not i hope she has a nice life.

NDG is still posting, I am sure I have seen her input in threads recently. She posts common sense like some others on here. I also think the fact she lives in Devon like myself......I have had a few glasses of wine so could be barking mad and the wrong county..................makes her input particularly great for a fellow Devonian! ;)

It is snowing hard here as I speak! The white stuff was fun for a day or so, but is now getting boring and a pain for those of us living in the nether regions when it comes to grittting priorities! Still, it isn't the end of the world. And I have magical views from my house.
